The Mobile Chapel sat all winter beside Hwy 11 north of Orillia, Ontario it was time to get it spiffed up. After a wash, wax and buff the trailer was ready to get back out onto the highway for ministry. This week it headed to the Pilot Flying J Travel Center in Fort Erie, Ontario. This is a very busy location as it is right at the bridge for highway traffic coming into Canada or going into the U.S. From the QEW the Mobile Chapel can be clearly seen.
Tuesday evening while sitting outside in a lawn chair a lady driver came and sat down and talked to Don for several hours. She had many questions and was looking for answers. Don asked if she would like to invite Jesus into her heart. After a bit she responded that she wasn’t quite ready yet. She has a few more obstacles to remove then her heart will be softened to His still voice.
Thursday night a Christian driver came and sat down with Don outside again. This driver was a joy to fellowship with, he was on fire for the Lord, BUT he just needed some words of encouragement and then Don prayed for him. Just as this driver was leaving he “thanked Don for being there”. This is what it is all about being visible and available to these drivers. Thank you God for using us to point lost souls to you!
May 16, 2016 week.
After fixing a few water holes in the ceiling of the Mobile Chapel Don was on his way to London, Ontario Pilot Flying J. He got as far as the 401 just east of Cambridge then sat in traffic for a few hours. Finally got to the Pilot Flying J and the manager had been looking forward to his visit at her BUSY location. Unfortunately Don had to move the Mobile Chapel 3 different times in order to be in a proper parking space. This is when its good that he can run on a generator.
